Patti and I are in England for two weeks. We’re in Norwich. then to London at the end.
Norwich is about two hours by train from London. We were here two years ago after we walked part of the Northfolk Coast National Trail.
Norwich was the original capital of England. We’re staying in the oldest hotel in England (clearly updated). Our room is terrific .
Every morning we take a train out – maybe 20 minutes – to a village and each has a circular walk from two booklets on the web: Railway Rambles from the Bittern Line and Wherry Line.
Tomorrow (Friday as I write this) we leave at 10:45 to Wroxham for a boat ride on the Broads, a flat winding river in this area – a National park. Then we’ll have a quick lunch – maybe fish ‘n chips – and do the circular hike of about five miles. Train back will get us here at before 5 PM.
Weather has been good. Bright sunshine and 63 for the high tomorrow.
